A private villa proposal in Los Cabos takes place on a closed property rather than a public space, which removes the crowds and the risk of strangers in the photographs. Cabo Proposals styles the terrace, pool or beachfront, arranges catering and music, and can stage the setup at a villa you have already rented.
This is the option we recommend most often to couples who tell us privacy matters more than the view. It is also the only setting where you can hide fifteen family members behind a wall and have them walk out thirty seconds after she says yes.

At the villa you have already booked
Send us the property name or the listing link. We check the terrace, the pool, the sightlines and which way the light falls in the late afternoon, then design the setup to fit. We coordinate directly with the property manager so the staff know we are coming and nothing surprises anyone. This is usually the most cost effective route because the largest expense is already paid.
At a villa we source for you
If you are staying in a hotel and want a private setting for the proposal, we find a villa that suits the setup and the group size, whether that is a cliffside property on the Pacific side or a beachfront house along the Corridor. Some properties will allow access for the event alone rather than a full night.

What a villa proposal costs
Villa proposals are quoted as a fixed price covering design, decor, florals, setup, teardown, staff and photography. If you already have the villa, that is the whole number. If we source and rent a property for you, the villa rental is quoted separately and transparently rather than being marked up inside our fee.

Why choose a villa over a beach for a proposal?
Privacy and control. A villa is a closed property, so nobody walks through the shot and there is no crowd to time around. It also lets us build a much larger setup than a public beach allows, and you can stay on afterward rather than driving back.
Do we have to rent the villa to propose there?
Usually yes for the night, or at minimum for the day. Some properties allow event only access for a fee. If you are already staying in a private villa in Los Cabos, we can stage the proposal at your villa, which is often the simplest and cheapest option of all.
Can you stage a proposal at the villa we already booked?
Yes, and it is very common. Send us the villa name or listing and we will check access, terrace space, pool layout and light direction, then design the setup around what is actually there. We coordinate with the property manager so the staff are expecting us.
What can you set up at a villa that you cannot on a beach?
Anything that needs power, structure or time. Suspended floral installations, a full dining setup, projection, a fire pit, a band, a styled infinity pool with candles and florals on the water, and lighting that runs late into the night. Public beaches restrict all of that.
Can we have family and friends hidden at the villa?
Yes, and villas are the easiest place to do it. Guests wait inside or on a lower terrace, out of sight, and come out once she has said yes. On a public beach hiding a group is close to impossible without giving it away.
Is a villa proposal more expensive?
Not necessarily. If you are already renting a villa, staging the proposal there is often cheaper than a beach setup because there is no boat access and no crowd management. If we have to source and rent a villa for the night, the villa itself becomes the largest line in the quote.
