Who we are
It started with a flower shop in Phoenix
Cabo Proposals was founded by Blanca Pulido, who ran her own flower shop in Phoenix, Arizona for more than twenty years before bringing that craft to Los Cabos. The company designs and stages engagement proposals across Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo, with every floral arrangement built in house rather than ordered from a supplier.
Two decades of floral work teaches you things a planner cannot learn from a mood board. How a colour reads at six in the evening rather than under shop lights. Which shapes hold their form on an open beach. How much of an arrangement the camera will actually see, and how much of it is wasted.
That is the part of a Cabo proposal most companies quietly outsource, and it shows. For us the florals are not a line item handed to somebody else. They are designed and built by us, they are the reason the setup looks the way it does, and they are the thing people describe when they tell the story later.

From Arizona to Baja
Blanca spent more than twenty years as a florist in Phoenix, Arizona, building arrangements for other people's biggest days. Weddings, anniversaries, funerals, apologies. The whole range of things people say with flowers when words are not enough.
She moved that work to Cabo San Lucas, where the light is better and the setting does half the job for you. What she does now is the same craft pointed at a single moment: the twelve minutes in which somebody asks a question they have been rehearsing for months.
It is a family business, and that is not a marketing line. It means we do not run two proposals in one evening, and it means the person who designed your setup is the one kneeling on the sand fixing it before you arrive.
The distinction
A proposal company, not an events company
Most companies that will sell you a Cabo proposal are wedding planners with a proposal page, or booking platforms in another country that pass your job to whichever local supplier answers first. Neither of those is set up for the thing that actually makes a proposal work, which is secrecy and timing measured in minutes.
What we do
The whole thing, from the idea to the teardown
A proposal has more moving parts than people expect. There is the design and the flowers, but there is also a sunset time to build a schedule backward from, a photographer to hide, a driver to brief, a restaurant to hold, a partner to keep entirely in the dark, and a plan for what happens if the wind comes up.
We do all of it. You choose the setting and approve a design. Everything between that and the moment you walk her down is ours.
- Design and styling for beaches, terraces, pools, decks and dining rooms.
- Floral design in house by a florist with more than twenty years behind her, not handed to a third party.
- Surprise logistics including cover stories, transport briefing and concierge coordination.
- Photography and video as a built in part of the setup rather than a separate booking.
- Live music from a solo violinist through to full mariachi.
- On the day delivery by our own team, present throughout and out of frame.
- Fresh flower delivery to hotels and villas across Los Cabos for any occasion, separately from proposal setups.

Who are Cabo Proposals?
Cabo Proposals is an engagement proposal planning company in Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, Mexico, founded by Blanca Pulido after more than twenty years running her own flower shop in Phoenix, Arizona. We design and stage beach, restaurant, yacht and villa proposals across Los Cabos, with the florals built in house.
Are you a wedding planner?
No. We plan proposals specifically. That is a narrower job than wedding planning and a different one: it is built around secrecy, precise timing and a single moment rather than a full day for a guest list. It is the only thing we do, which is why we know the locations at the level we do.
Are you based in Cabo or overseas?
We are based in Cabo San Lucas and our team is on the ground in Los Cabos. The people who design your setup are the same people who build it on the day. We are not a booking site that subcontracts the work to whoever is available locally.
What area do you cover?
The whole Los Cabos municipality: Cabo San Lucas, the Tourist Corridor and San Jose del Cabo, plus the inland valley and the beaches along the Corridor. We also work on the water out of Cabo San Lucas marina.
Do you speak English and Spanish?
Yes. We work with clients in English and handle all local supplier, venue and authority coordination in Spanish, which is a large part of why the supplier and venue side runs smoothly.
