Planning a proposal in Cabo takes four to eight weeks for most setups. You send your dates and an idea, we return availability and a fixed all inclusive quote, a deposit confirms the suppliers, and we handle the florals, the timing, the cover story and photographer placement. On the day you receive a schedule and a planner on site.
Nothing about this should be stressful for you. That is the entire point of hiring a planner rather than assembling a florist, a photographer, a boat and a venue yourself from another time zone.
The process
Five stages, start to finish
You send your dates
Travel dates, group size, where you are staying and roughly what you are picturing. One message is enough. We reply with what is genuinely available that week and an honest read on cost, including when your idea will not work on your dates.
We design and quote
You receive a concept for your chosen location with a fixed all inclusive price covering design, decor, florals, setup, teardown, staff and photography. Revise it as many times as you want. Nothing is committed and nothing is charged at this stage.
A deposit holds the date
The deposit confirms the location, the suppliers and the photographer for your slot. In high season this is the step that actually secures a sunset table or a boat, so the earlier it happens the more choice you keep.
We handle everything else
Floral design and build, supplier scheduling, the cover story, transport, venue staff briefing and photographer placement. You get a written schedule about a week out and a single person to contact.
The day
Our team builds the setup and confirms with you before you leave. You arrive at the agreed time. We are out of frame, the camera is running, the champagne is cold. Afterward we tear down and you go to dinner.
Timing
When to book, and what sells out first
High season in Los Cabos runs November through April, with Valentine's week, Christmas and New Year the tightest dates of the year. Private yacht charters and premium sunset restaurant tables sell out earliest, often six weeks or more ahead. Beach and villa setups stay available longer because supply is less constrained.
Surprise logistics
Getting her there without her knowing
Surprise logistics means engineering a reason for your partner to be at a specific place at a specific minute without suspecting anything. We build the cover story, brief drivers and hotel concierge staff, position the photographer out of sight and communicate only with you, never with your partner.
- A cover story that holds. A dinner reservation, a sunset walk, a boat trip somebody gifted you. Something she will not interrogate.
- Briefed transport. Your driver knows the timing and the story, so arrival is not left to chance or traffic.
- Concierge coordination. Where you are in a hotel, we can brief the concierge so the story is corroborated by someone other than you.
- Hidden photography. Positioned before you arrive, shooting from distance with a long lens until the moment is over.
- One channel. All contact with you only, on the app you choose. We never message or call your partner.
- A decoy plan. Where useful, a fake plan for that evening she is told about, so the real one is not the only thing on the calendar.

Flowers and weather
The two things that ruin unplanned proposals
A location chosen from a photograph
The most common mistake is picking a location from an image without knowing what the place is actually like. Playa Monumentos has surf too strong to swim in. Medano is the busiest beach in Cabo. A cliff restaurant cannot hold a private moment in a full dining room. The photograph never shows any of that.
We would rather talk you out of a location than stage something that does not deliver what you described. Tell us the moment you are picturing and we will tell you which place actually produces it, including when that is not the one you had in mind.
Weather and sea conditions
Every outdoor booking carries a named backup venue agreed before the deposit, usually a covered terrace, a villa or a restaurant available the same evening. We monitor forecasts from about seventy two hours out and make the call together with you rather than waiting to see what happens.
On the water the decision is not ours at all. If the port captain closes the marina, no charter leaves, and we move to the backup plan. Hurricane season in Baja California Sur runs roughly June through November, with the highest probability in September, which is worth knowing when you choose your dates.
Money
How pricing and payment work
You receive one fixed all inclusive quote before paying anything. It covers design, decor, florals, setup, teardown, staff and photography for the setup described. A deposit confirms the date and suppliers, with the balance due before the event. The total does not change unless you change the plan.
We do not publish a single headline price because the range across what we do is genuinely wide. A candle setup for two on a Corridor beach and a six hour yacht charter with dinner for sixteen are not comparable products, and a made up starting figure would only mislead you.
What we will do is give you a real number quickly. Send your dates and a sentence about what you are picturing and you will get a costed answer, not a call booking link.
Answers
Frequently Asked Questions
How far in advance should I book a proposal in Cabo?
Four to eight weeks is comfortable for most setups. High season is November through April plus Valentine's week, when yacht charters and sunset restaurant tables sell out first. We do take rush bookings inside seven days when suppliers have capacity, though location choice narrows sharply.
What information do you need from me to start?
Your travel dates, roughly how many people will be present, the kind of setting you are picturing and where you are staying. That is enough for a first response. We do not need the ring, the speech or a budget figure before we can tell you what is available.
How do payments work?
A deposit confirms the date and the suppliers, with the balance due before the event. You receive a fixed all inclusive quote first, so the total does not move unless you change the plan. We do not add day of charges to a final invoice.
Who else knows about the proposal?
Only the people who have to. Our planning team, the specific suppliers involved on the day, and any venue staff whose timing depends on it. All communication runs through you on a channel you choose, and we never contact your partner for any reason.
What happens on the day itself?
You get a written schedule with times and a phone number for the planner on site. Our team sets up in advance, positions the photographer and confirms with you before you leave your hotel. From your side the whole thing is: arrive at a time, walk in a direction, ask a question.
Do you work with couples who are not staying in Cabo yet?
Yes. Most of our clients book from another country before they travel. Everything is planned remotely by message, email or call, and the first time you meet us in person is usually the day of the proposal itself.
